How to create and attach a new tool or material to an activity

Under Tools on the left side panel below the title of the activity, additional information for tools can be created to allow staff to easily identify all the reusable materials required for activity completion.
Steps:
Click Tools on the left side panel of the open activity page.
Press the Add Tool Button in the top right corner.
Enter the details of the tool.
The mandatory fields are the Name, Specs, Quantity, Units, Per Quantity, Team Size, and Source Type.
Enter the numerical Quantity and select the appropriate unit (ex. meters, liters, grams) by selecting thedrop down arrow under the Units dialogue.
State how the quantity will be distributed by selecting one of either Person, Team or Group under Per Quantity.
You may complete the optional fields such as Other Details or Location.
Select thedrop down arrow under the Equipment Category dialogue to attach tracked equipment (ex. 3D Printer, iPad, Headphones) to the activity.
Click Save to finish saving the created tool.
Under Materials on the left side panel below the title of the activity, materials can be created to allow staff to easily identify all the non-reusable materials required for activity completion.
Steps:
Click Materials on the left side panel of the open activity page.
Enter the details of the material.
The mandatory fields are the Name, Specs, Quantity, Units, Per Quantity, Team Size, and Source Type.
State how the quantity will be distributed by selecting either Person, Team or Group under Per Quantity.
You may complete the optional fields.
Click Save to finish saving the created material.

Click Tools or Materials on the left side panel of the open activity page.
Click Save to finish saving the new tool or material edits.

Click Tools or Materials on the left side panel of the open activity page.
Click Yes, I am sure in the pop-up dialogue to confirm and permanently delete the tool or material.
Alternatively, you may click Cancel to discard this action as it can not be reverted once deleted.
The tool or material will now be deleted and no longer appear under Tools or Materials for the activity.
Press the Add Material Button in the top right corner.
Enter the numerical Quantity and select the appropriate unit (ex. meters, liters, grams) by selecting thedrop down arrow under the Units dialogue.
Select the editing icon next to the tool or material to make any neccesary edits.
Select the delete icon next to the tool or material you wish to be deleted.
