FAST PASS is the replacement for the legacy sign out pass code process. It aims to supplement the recently introduced trusted guardian system by offering a faster path while not compromising the safety of the participants. FAST PASS offers the following benefits:
Improved instructor experience. With FAST PASS, the instructor no longer needs to adjust filters and search for students on the list, they can scan a code and all participants will be automatically discovered. Instructors can also sign in multiple participants at once.
Improved parent experience. Parents no longer need to fill out more forms to sign in/out their children. They will receive the code in their email and that's all they need to bring to the in-person programs to drop off their children.
Improved admin experience. FAST PASS is built with self-service in mind, parents can reset their own FAST PASS code, get a new email without the need for admin help. FAST PASS distribution is also controlled by admin so admin can choose whether to use it and when to distribute it.
You can set up FAST PASS for a single order or for multiple orders at once. We recommend that you send it to multiple orders at once when you initially distribute the code, and only setup single orders if the order was created after the initial code distribution.
Go to the Orders page from registration home page.
Filter the orders using the filters on the page
Select all orders in the list or select a few at a time by checking the check box on the left.
Click Action > Generate FAST PASS.
Confirm by clicking on Yes, I am sure.
Using this option will not override an order's existing FAST PASS.
If a parent loses the FAST PASS or would like to obtain a new one, you can do so by going to the order and performing the actions.
Click on the order you would like to update the FAST PASS for.
Click Resend FAST PASS email to resend the same pass to the order contact again. Click Reset FAST PASS to obtain a new pass and send it to the order contact (previous passes will be invalidated).
Confirm the action by clicking on Yes, I am sure.
